Paste System Description Flux Working Range Heat Source
T F I R
F9A Effective general purpose solder paste system for use when soldering silver, copper or tin-based alloys, and steel with low-temperature, tin-based solders. 250-700°F
121-371°C
S100 This rosin based flux system is suitable for use where noncorrosive residues are desirable. Flux residues are noncorrosive and nonconductive. 380 - 800°F
S310 Mild acid flux system suitable for soldering most clean base metals. 250 - 700°F
S321 Moderately aggressive general purpose acid solder flux. 250 - 700°F
S330 Our most aggressive solder flux, designed for use on stainless steel, galvanized, and tern plate steel. 250 - 800°F
S380 Moderately aggressive general purpose solder flux. Contains no ammonium or zinc chloride. 250 - 700°F
